Rumor mill is churning out that its Derpy Hooves and PP's coltfriend is bulge biceps. It makes sense, Derpy was in the Equestria Games and so was Bulge Biceps. So if Derpy is the new member, then Bulge is most likely PP's coltfriend. But there is also a chance that it could be Trixie, seeing as she made such an impression on the fans. Personally I think it Derpy and Bulge.

I'd heard about PP attached to someone, but Bulge Biceps? o.O Definitely energetic, that would make for some weird love. Derpy and Bulge? Possible.

I forgot that Luna will CHOOSE to become Nightmare Moon again, doing a sort of heroic sacrifice for some reason and be the definitive antagonist of the show moving forward.

And our new villain is.... an old villain XD. Also heard that one, I can dig it. NMM makes for much better conflict than Luna herself(though For Whom The Sweetie Belle Toils and Sleepless in Ponyville fit her really well). But for me, it comes down to appeal and the badass sorceress beats the Dream-Invading Do-Nothing princess. :|

As far as the rumors, weren't they leaked way in march here?

I'm still happy with the ideas...mostly. The handling of romance so far in the series has been either minimally, or using a thrown-out-of-nowhere hipster pony with virtually no character development besides "Rarity knows her and he's cool or something". They're got the potential, but I hope it's handled more delicately than Simple Ways turned out.

If they put Kimi Sparkle in Canon MLP, I may start a flay fest.

But the biggest news is Lauren Faust is the writer for either the season opening or season finale for season 4! Not permanent though.

 

Derpy As a Mane Character?!? ~yay~ let us a rejoice at the coming of a new era the era fo derp and so shall acceptance become the greatest of the Elements and dwarf magic in it's power and might. 

 

Honestly though that could be an interesting thing to do as long as they don't butcher derpy. That's my big thing the first portrayal in the last round up (season 2 episode 14 or 16) was fine by me the second one where they backtracked, to appeas the crazies who don't understand the "Cult of the Derp God" and all of Derpy's wonderous glory, felt ingenuine to me. The voice no longer felt right, and the fact they pulled her name irritated me. A Derpy person is essentially a Ditz after all and They didn't pull Ditzy Doo from the bloody winter wrap up, and it is just as offensive. Bunch of know nothings shaping our glorious BG fandom Born character. It angered me substantially.

 

Trixie does seem probable likely her constant delusions of grandeur and rivalry with twilight could explain her addition to the Mane Six, however she's not a particularly accepting pony, she's more of an exceptionalist and the traits that most of the mane six carry are very large portions of their personality. So I would say based off of previous actions she's probably out.

 

Interesting about luna, also great about faust i can't wait. 

 

Here's hoping for a glorious return of the derp god to the screen, praise to the muffin in the clouds.
