Equestria Girls was like constant flaying. Rainbow Rocks will be more like a flay every 10-15 minutes. What I like about the vanilla show is that it has more depth beneath than what people would expect. Equestria Girls is exactly what people would expect; A Mindless Kiddy Adventure that's kind of funny, but ultimately meaningless. EG and RR seem to be targeted more to the original audience - Kids and Parents.

So. At least if we're going off of Twilight, the tree of harmony is somehow sentient? o.O I suppose it's not the first time. Assuming Celes and Co. aren't directly involved with this, the tree is likely trying to heal the more global issues of equestria instead of having them stick around ponyville(and ocassionally jumping in other spots). Unsurprisingly, The New Treehouse is more like the War Room now.

Football is canon now. o.o The pinkie bits were pretty good, and the humor overall is looking good.So the ending of that animatic... I take it the town has embraced assimilation over diversity? "The most boring place in equestria."
