Finally, a challenge. Who has the worst writing in this show?Luna has the worst writing in all of MLP.
It really is all over the place, since it's an awful lot of writers trying to capture the same character. A bit like comic book writing; It can head anywhere from awesome to awful.
Luna: While not the worst written, she lacks a lot of characterization. As NMM, she's ends up as a muhahaha saturday morning villain. As Luna, she's essentially a less renowned version of her sister. Outside of invading CMC's Dreamscapes, there's not much going on there. Going back to "I was NMM so I know the feel sis" is getting old.
Celestia: Possibly worse. She spills exposition, and apparently drinks an appletini while the Mane 6 take care of the villains. Princess Twi and Twilight's Kingdom try to eliminate this enlarged plot hole by imprisoning her instead. She's dumbledore.
Twilight: She's like an annoying muscle car next to a bunch of pintos. In Season 1, she's little miss Perfect. As great as Lesson Zero is, they're stretching the character a bit much to remove Mary Sue Syndrome. I mean, why not just ask Celestia herself instead of freaking out? I thought she was the smart one. In Twilight's Kingdom, she's an Overpowered Emo turned magical battery pack. The writers have a reeeeally hard time handling her.
I'm voting twilight as the worst written. I'm voting Luna as the least written.

Pretty much. I'd like to note that she's the only one of the Mane 6 who doesn't have a Morality-Focused cutie mark. She is a servant of magic, and vicariously a servant of Celestia. For the entire first season, she's stuck scrounging for ways to find lessons of morality for her Queen. And when she runs out, this happens.Twilight is really annoying. Its like she goes from a Honda Civic to a Bugatti in 4 seconds.
Yeah, that ain't normal.

I like Twilight over Fluttershy. She is too timid for my liking. Sometimes you have to turn your emotion of fear off and go for it.

And Dom, I agree with you completely.

That's fair. I love Flutter's kindness/altruism, but she's not great at assertion. The mane 6 have tried a couple ways to tackle her preference for being a doormat, but I don't think she'll have any major changes. Well, I take that back - tough love is something she's gotten better at, but her nature is hard to go against. Hell, Shy's in her name.I like Twilight over Fluttershy. She is too timid for my liking. Sometimes you have to turn your emotion of fear off and go for it.
They could do what Adventure Time did with PBG - flashbacks to her past. They technically did that for Princess Twi, but it's a memory we were already aware of from the get go.Although Celestia at this point has been nothing but giving Plot Advancing Lectures

The attempts they did do didn't work. but I have accepted that fact from her. Preference wise, I prefer Pinkie Pie over all the others.

Your >implying will be the death of you tbh.
Celestia is some egotistical crazy despot with a weird obsession with Twi that makes both characters easy to hate.

My barn door don't swing that way, and it doesn't count if you do that other thing you're thinking of right now.
And speaking of barn doors.

Definitely a Pinkie fan too. I grew up with comedy virtually every day, so can't be helped.
