1) In terms of personality, which character(Mane 6 or not) do you closest resemble? Doesn't have to be your favorite character, either. Or you can add a pony which you least resemble instead if you wanna be a renegade about it.

A:  Some strange mix of Fluttershy, RD and Twilight, I'm a fairly shy person who'd much rather sit in the back but is often overly competitive in games, and is a lifetime student so far soo There's that.

2) A close friend or family member finds out you watch the show, and you've no idea what they'd think of it. How do you react? Do nothing about it, try to explain it, or just start flailing your arms and begin to speak in a weird language?

A:I Say so do you sir so do you

3) If there's one thing you could remove out of the fandom or the show, what would it be and why?

A:I'd be more inclined to remove the hyper political  or "social progressives" from the fandom than anything else because they tend to take various things in the show to a politically aligned extreme and make a large issue of it. Which is my complaint really with the internet right now in general too many social justice warriors running around quoting and rehashing quotes being overly concerned with status.

4) Which is the most important moral learned/re-learned in My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic?

A: It's ok to be me. It's more a thing that i've learned over the years of watching than from any one episode. I shouldn't feel ashamed to wear things i like or do things i like or say things i like in public.

5) Are you proud, embarassed, or indifferent to watching the show and being a Brony/Pegasister?

A: I'd say i'm proud. We're an interesting community with loads of people who are on average more sympathetic or empathetic than the average american as well as in general slightly better educated and i think we have a tendency to being more open with our ideas than other communities. While at the same time we're a motley assortment of nationalities, shapes, sizes, languages, and interests.  We are in many ways an embodiment of acceptance and diversity even tolerance in face of adversity. And i can think of few other fandoms that have reached out with so many charities.

Being a brony is a thing to be proud of, even if we have to accept and tolerate the cloppers.

6) Do you like Bananas?
A: What sort of monster doesn't like bananas??

I regret nothing. Something like this is closer to the show, whereas Black Swan is... well, the artist was really having fun it seems.

Excuses.

To answer your questions:

1) I really don't know. That personality test keeps rating me closest to either Rarity or Twilight which is horrifying because I hate both, especially Twi.

2) There is only one solution. Grab the nearest sharp object, kill them, hide the body, withdraw all of my cash, drive to airport, book the next flight to somewhere in South America, then maybe start new life as mercenary or drug lord.

3) The ability to only remove one thing is way too limited. As always there is a long list.

4) Celestia is a whorse and a corrupt tyrant, the general population of Equestria is a bunch of incompetent morons who are clueless to the situation around them, Twi is awful, and there is no such thing as justice.

5) I don't consider myself one, and I'm ashamed to even be posting here.

6) No.

Recon, do you want to start a drug cartel in Mexico?

I mean we could make like so much money sending crack and meth across the border, into the US.

I have a feeling this belongs here.

The day has finally arrived...

A: It's ok to be me. It's more a thing that i've learned over the years of watching than from any one episode. I shouldn't feel ashamed to wear things i like or do things i like or say things i like in public.

Definitely something I've worked on over time. Until the events 3 months ago, I'd mostly kept my interest in the series under wraps in real life. When I'd pitched the idea for having an MLP party for my 30th, his response was "You are not 5. You are 30." It was a moment I won't be forgetting soon, and since then decided to change my habits for the better by making some of my quirkier interests more known to friends/family. If someone cuts off their relationship because you're not normal enough for them, were they really friends in the first place?

It's a simple but effective theme of the show. People aren't always going to agree with each other(and those character dynamics are played off in a number of ways), but that doesn't mean we should stop in a bit of jolly co-operation and move on. A bit like Maud Pie's episode, just because it's less-than-picture-perfect doesn't mean you can't find common ground somewhere along the line.

Which is my complaint really with the internet right now in general too many social justice warriors running around quoting and rehashing quotes being overly concerned with status.

Won't get too far into this one, but I'd say there's a difference between defending your rights, and going on a non-stop social crusade.

1) Definitely reformed discord. I'm about 50/50 in terms of Chaos/Order. According to the Mane 6 personality test, I'm a little bit of

tumblr_n4h4kyyVaL1smcbm7o1_500.gif

Besides, being in canterlot castle alone with 2 princesses comes with certain... benefits.

2) Explain. I've done it virtually every time. Even my Dad, which was a lost cause.

3) Rule 34.

4) The one in For Whom the Sweetie Belle Toils. It's easy to get angry over someone's actions and misinterpret their intent.

5) Proud isn't the right word, but I'm glad to be a part of it. It's had a major positive influence on my life and glad I joined in. Something specific to this fandom is a feeling of belongingness that you don't quite get with as many other fandoms. A brotherhood so to speak.

6) As much as everyone else. Though a certain someone seems to take it too far. ಠ_ಠ

I am pretty sure Dom intended that joke for Recon.

Nah, just an old reference.

Something specific to this fandom is a feeling of belongingness that you don't quite get with as many other fandoms. A brotherhood so to speak, almost like the Dark Souls fandom. In a similar way, both seem to have a misconception by the average person on what it's about, and what it actually turns out to be.

6) As much as everyone else. Though a certain someone seems to take it too far. GET ME OUTTA HERE
Nah, just an old meme reference.

I saw that Robot Chicken way before I even knew what bronies were.

5. It feels more like a Nazi clan, than a fandom. All the cloppers persecute you for not being a sick fak, and you are them marked as a degenerate. I never been apart of a fandom that was a brotherhood of anytime except for when I was playing Assassins Creed Brotherhood.

6. Bronies overdid it 3 years ago.

Recon, obviously loves Luna because he doesn't like bananas.

THat's my POV if someone is willing to break off a friendship because of ponies or any other interest we apparently werent' good friends to begin with.

Totally don't get me wrong i don't mind the folks who sit there and defend rights in a legit fashion by contributing something to the discussion or repost as part of some sorta widespread movement with a directed goal. It's the one's who are only concerned with making sure that they themselves are seen as progressive, have no contributions to give and only highlight the problem and inorder to state "I Am Against this because i am" I just wanted to clarify, i don't communicate my position with regard to those social justice things well. Just wanted to clarify >.>.

So for those either just starting out or veterans looking to catch up, I made a top 10 with some quick descriptions.

illest_zpsc8888d15.png

#10: Party Of One:
Not a bad spot to start off. It’s got a lot of slapstick humor, dark humor, and is considered one of the better PP-centric episodes. Even if the moral doesn’t move past ‘Don’t be paranoid’, it’s an entertaining gem anyhow.

#9: Lesson Zero:
The episode manages to point out a legitimate flaw in Twilight Sue, and unceremoniously tosses out the forced-moral-for-every-episode mechanic. All of this while being an enjoyable 22 minute Romp. At the very least, it’s another “Somepony Goes Nuts” episode.

#8: A Canterlot Wedding:
It’s a Disney Film in half the time. It comes with legit surprises, minor political intrigue, and Twilight Kills Dumbledore. A bit like Twilight’s Kingdom, the first half isn’t quite as memorable, but I’d say it pays off from the build-up.

#7: Pinkie Pride:
An episode that musically outperforms nearly any other. Looking for a crazy ride? Here it is.

#6: Bats:
I liked bats. Playing off the varying opinions of the Mane 6 is one of the better traits of the show, and it does this well with a fairly serious issue. While the logistics for part of the storyline is up in the air, it’s a very entertaining episode that’s fairly heavy in spookiness.

#5: Flight To The Finish:
It‘s a child-centric episode, yet it’s deep-seated with moral dilemmas and has some of the best characterization in the show. They managed to take a running joke from the fans, and turn it into a serious real-life issue. Bring Kleenex for the second half.

#4: Princess Twilight Sparkle:
The only real flaw I can come up with for the episode is the less-than-original name. That seems to be a running gag for Two-Parters. For those wanting to speed right into S4, it’s a picture-perfect entry that manages to avoid the expected tropes of its preceding 2-parters, provides answers to much-needed questions, and has more twists than Rarity’s Tail. Okay, that joke was awful… It’s the second-best two-parter in the entire series. Go watch it.

#3: Rarity Takes Manehattan:
Oh boy. There are 3 episodes I’ve shed a tear to, and this is one of em‘. A brand new setting, a very emotionally-charged storyline, and an appropriate ending that opens potential doors in S5 for a new character.

#2: For Whom The Belle Toils:
Much like Sisterhooves Social, It’s tied into the SB-Rarity family dynamics, but turns the tables around. There’s too much spoiler-y things to talk about here…if you like dark and emotional, this will definitely not dissapoint.

#1: The Return of Harmony:
This is the big one. Features one of the best villains, and a genuinely moving storyline. Second Half’s a bit iffy on pacing, but is otherwise a whole lot of awesome. If you’re looking for something Dark & Serious, and just started out on this crazy journey, look no further. This is it.

Agree with the list? Think it's a bunch of rubbish? Have your own list? Feel free to drop a line below.
