if MLP had a spinoff aimed at its more mature demography, what do you guys think will be in it?

 

Im thinking a lot of ship-teasing on the writers' part and the plot while darker will bring more relevant Morals to grey and gray subjects. I would also think there would be some real court intrigue via GoT style and how Celestia is playing a most deadly game of musical chairs in all of Equestria.

Well, I suppose this is the best point to say I'm taking a vacation from this thread until the show comes back, or at least the thread's state improves beyond what it is. I mean, I know what I did to the thread a couple pages ago was messed up, but what I'm reading above me is nothing I want to be a part of.

Feature of the Day

The Monster Below

As suggested earlier by ObserverStatus, I've been taking a look at the Fan Novel The Monster Below. As it turns out, it was a very pleasant surprise. As much as I've enjoyed FO:E & Project Horizons, The Post-Apocalyptic setting has begun to wane my interest. Thankfully, the Author Greenback has changed things up for those with the free time.

The Monster Below involves a relatively "normal" character, whose inferiority, heritage, and various circumstances begin to grow a desire for something that would be quite a rarity in the Equestrial Setting. The protagonist is well-spoken, Pragmatic, and those personality traits take full swing as the chapters go on. I'd almost liken him to Dexter Morgan, though their motives are distinctly different. The author isn't afraid to go in surprising directions, and the monologues are often more interesting than what you'll hear out of Blackjack or Lilpip. If that sounds like your sort of thing, give it a look.
