I beat Super Lesbian Horse RPG. It was cute, it was fun. If you have 5 hours to spare, why not? It reminded me though, I need to finish "Cthulhu Saves the World" one of these days.

Cthulhu Saves The World is pretty close in its formula; Globetrotting from one dungeon to another with a bunch of weird Video Game/Lovecraftian references thrown in. Not the most exciting combat system(and SLH isn't far from it), but it's pretty funny. Outside of brief shipping jokes, they're about the same.

If this is normal, I fear for humanity.

Personally i'd like to see a geo-political struggle in the pony world

I'm reluctant to say they'll go there, but I'd like that a great deal more. They're tipping their toes in the water of going global, and you could argue Canterlot Wedding had minor political involvement.

Because how something might be perceived without direct experience, and what something actually is can be drastically different from each other. If anything, this fandom is a prime example of the phrase "Don't judge a book by its Cover".

It's difficult to hold a credible opinion on a game without having played it. I know this well, because I made the same mistake about a month ago. If you don't want to play it, no need to. There's way more than one MLP game out there, and arguably higher quality ones. Or if you want to skip them all, then that's that.
