I like Rarity - she's an independent business woman with a strong sense of style, and is giving to those who'd accept her generosity; she's not just the Zsa Zsa Gabor cliche people might expect. I like Nightmare Moon for somewhat shallow reasons - she's a shadow valkyrie who's got one of the best designs. Simple as that. Tommy Oliver covered it well about Luna herself, she's the woman who made mistakes and went to significant levels to clear out her past. She's also a healer on a subconscious level though dreamwalking.

Flutters is like Rarity's generosity to a more extreme level. She's a hippie and the ultimate altruist, wanting everyone to get along. She's innocence.

Maud is a bit polarizing, but has her pros.

• Seems to be written almost intentionally to drive a wedge between the main cast.

Yep. One-Of-A-Kind character.
 
PP/Pinkamena is a personality that I can relate to. A Comedian, somewhat Bi-Polar, has a lot of crazy ideas which may or may not pan out. Lightning Dust? Wat

Well if anyone here likes Faustian Rock Operas, I just found a video from Ink Potts called Hell To Your Doorstep, taken from The Count of Monte Cristo musical. It's very dark, but pretty damn epic. If you need something a little more soothing, I will be there is great.
