It's a veeeery popular ship, though anything of a romantic nature is practically robbing the cradle. The only one that has a minute chance of happening in an episode is the Celestia/Discord ship. There's a lot we don't know in terms of what happened between those two. Not unless it got covered in the comics or something.

Twilight Sparkle's the best thing to happen in Friendship Is Magic. Outside of Lesson Zero, she really isn't that creepy. Recon, it's time for you to man up and love yourself a Purple Horse. She's so adorkable.

Updates on Project Horizons: Chapter 69 and 70 are up. First is here, last one is here. If you've never heard of PH and are hungry for a read, try here instead. There's a good chance we'll get another new one later this month, too. Hopefully the book will wrap up somewhere in the next 5 chapters; 3000 Pages is probably a good place to stahp.

So I started watching the first 2 episodes after a long hiatus. It may not have hit legendary status right out the door, but I've gotten a stronger appreciation for it. Twilight was quite the introvert before meeting the other Mane 5, and kind of a grump. Even meeting them wasn't enough - it took seeing their attributes in full color before developing a bit in that department. At first, she was nothing. But by the end, the power of friendship was surging through her. Literally.

Pinkie Pie is still a vexatious singer since I last saw her...though Pinkie Pride is the exception. Her voice has driven infants to tears. Say Oink again, I double dare ya motherbucker.

An actual movie, and not just a spin-off?! Well slap a monkey and call me Loretta - That's some serious news.

Writer Joe Ballarini's worked on Ice Age: Continental Drift and Turbo... which worries me a bit since they didn't do well on the critical side of things. But we'll find out in a couple years if he's gotten better, I suppose At least he's familiar with western animated content.

I'm curious how they intend to fit this in. I'm guessing it'll be something akin to Canterlot Wedding where it's an entertaining ride that still remains canon, but isn't a requirement for the TV series itself. Michael Bay's Transformers had the advantage of starting from the ground up instead of linking it to a specific series. Could be used to finish off the series too, if they chose.

She has only gotten worse with the undeserved powers Celestia has given her.

Undeserved? Was solving virtually all of Ponyville's problems, eliminating half of the Sisters' previous enemies, and everything else under the sun not enough? If not that, What would be deserving of those gifts? She's essentially the heir to a pair of winged goddesses. The difference is she earned the royalty instead of being born into it. Not like she's gonna get a crummy T-shirt for her efforts.

If Twilight and Luna's places were swapped and Luna performed the exact same tasks, would you have the same opinion for Teenage Luna?

Jumping to Conclusions. Or perhaps headcanon? While some bits(particularly in CM Chronicles and Princess Twi) get more clarification, there's an awful lot of historical empty space. It's a weakpoint of the series.

Not really. She's intended to take a larger role than the other 5. Naturally she's going to get more attention. I'd argue it's less extensive than Harry Potter/Dumbledore.

It's a theoretical. Assuming Twilight Sparkle was sister to Celestia, and Luna is starting out on the same journey Twilight was. For the sake of said theory, they'd pretty much have to swap abilities.

What I'm saying is, are you claiming Twilight is undeserving of it due to your distaste for her personality, or that the accomplishments up to that point weren't enough?
