It's funny you mentioned that, EA. :P I googled "twilight sparkle frizzy hair" one time and the old meme of "Blackbaron summoning EA, better pop out the frizzy hair" showed up XD. Recon posting multiple pictures of Twilight Sparkle of an "enticing" nature? Oh my.

Also newer episode from Silly Filly

Not bad. It's sort of like the Blow Pop Commercial gone in a weirder direction. Hasbro-Brony Conflict Muffin... your tears are delicious. blackjack_zpsdda1154e.png

So I did finish Chapter 70 of Project Horizons. It's the calm before the storm, though I definitely wouldn't call it boring. Part of me's happy to see it end, and the other part is sad to see of the best storylining from FiMfiction reach its final destination. I can't think of another piece of FiMfiction that made such a strong set of unique characters like that. Had a much better sense of intrigue and a very outlandish, unpredictable story to it.

3 Years ago, I'd never have thought I'd be looking forward to fanfiction. The word 'fanfiction' likely gets a bad rap, but MLP has at least managed to reach a high ceiling in quality. While I didn't enjoy FO:E as much as Project Horizons, it's hard not to have a certain modicum of respect for its influence(Spin-Offs, Getting Physically Published Books, Video Games?!), Critical Success, and the bar it set for the rest of FiMfiction.

Unfortunately none of those are the true Frizzy Twi, but they're good substitutes. Thanks.

And it's apparently taken over a year, but Recon slides...

Edit: LOL! I just found it too, Dom.

Side Note: Watching a brony tale. It's an interesting documentary anythoughts for those of us who've seen it? If you're interested in it it is on Netflix US right now.

I've heard it turned out better than the original documentary. Haven't watched it yet.

Found this and had to share it because it's so true.

Hmmmmm. I'm not sure Shining Armor was in the same neck of the woods during the time Twilight was thrown into "Celestia's Protege" status. It's hard to say how much Lauren Faust thought ahead on that end before leaving Hasbro(though soon to come back, apparently).

It does raise a question, though. It seems both Cadence and Shining Armor were significant parts of her childhood. I'm not sure if it's a continuity screw-up or she had issues during adolescence. Not sure.

Once we hit the next page, I have a small "surprise".

I don't know if i'd say it turned out better than the first one, mainly because it was entirely focused around Ashleigh's experience with bronies and her dealing with brony-con, less about just the sub culture of the fandom itself. Though it did go over the official research discussing our generally better emotional handling, attitudes, and education, in addition to our demographics. And even though it focused on Her experience they still managed to show some prominent names and faces and explain what really brought them into the herd. It certainly had a more professional way of conducting itself but it didn't have a professional objectivity to it in my opinion it was a very subjective documentary compared to the first i think.

Wait, Faust came back? She's back in charge?

It was one of the rumors many months ago that she'd be coming back for Season 5...checking again, this hasn't been confirmed. Google hasn't revealed any reliable news on that, my bad. Gonna have to toss it back in "Not-So-Confirmed Rumor" territory.

@Darth: Sounds like a good kind of different.

Though it did go over the official research discussing our generally better emotional handling, attitudes, and education, in addition to our demographics.

Think Bronies did that too, but good they covered it in both documentaries.
