When i first pointed it out to my friends forever ago. My friends refused to acknowledge that the show did inadvertantly discuss the issue of reasoning(scientific or unscientific) vs faith(religious or otherwise) and that the two are not mutually exclusive or that's how i took it.  They dissagreed vehemently saying that it had no other purpose than comic relief, which may have been the intention well enough, however clearly missing the potential sidebar. Then again I'm the only one of us who has critically studied media and such in addition to my Linguistics and German Soo... yeah... could've been a part of it. Though i found it strange the Cinema snob in my group didn't pick up on it and still disagreed.

I don't know i think it's like how the undertone of the first AC 1 and AC2 plus expos. and AC 4 have underlying messages of freedom relating to belief systems and the impossibility of absolute freedom or control in addition to the ironic relationship of the templars and the assassins( "I'm gonna force everyone to do as I do because i think my way is better" " No i'm gonna force everyone to ignore you and follow in my steps because my way is better" (4 adds in the "And Now i shall profit" line) in addition to fun ubisoft criticism) and it's ever present brinksmanship seems to be chronically ignored, at least by the folks I talk to about it, despite being so obvious. The series is so overrated in terms of gameplay but content wise it's pretty good though underrated and low level sci-fi (still better than ancient aliens).

What I'm more curious about are the repercussions of their new council seats. Personal dilemmas and Tribbles in Ponyville are about to be replaced, throwing them into larger-scale issues that the mane 6 may not always agree unanimously with. Take Bats, for example. If the crops continue to fail, AJ's economical lifeblood is a mess - and being the Minister Mare of Wartime Technology, she naturally prefers to attack instead. Not everyone would comply with something that extreme. So what happens if Hasbro takes that formula with a greater sense of scope? I'm not sure if it applies to the "conformity town", but it may become a theme later on.

I'm boggled they missed something like that. Twilight's commentary near the end practically stamps it in.

My little daughter got me into the show (though I vaguely remember watching MLP Generation 1 back in 90's). I really dig Daniel Ingram's music and did some covers.

Yeah. I think they just intentionally do not want to acknowledge the commentary because it's ponies. And clearly ponies cannot have a deeper meaning than ponies just like fairy tales (sarcasm in case that was not clear >.> i'm bad at sarcasm <.<). //off topic:

In any case they never considered themselves to be "bronies" per say. They were simply on the fence. I don't think they put any real stock in the show simply bandwagoned along because it was hot at the time and it seemed progressive. Waiting for one of them to get off of their current civil liberties kick and start thinking, not that it's a bad thing just that he's coming to embody negative aspects of the movements he participates in at times particularly that there's no thinking and no progress just that he endlessly reposts the same drivel with no thought added in for the sake of "social points"

Based on the preview from way back when, they seem to be following specific regions and towns based on Super Psychic Box, which is likely being controlled somehow by Celestia. I'd expect some level of debate on solving the more global equestrian issues from the Ministry Mares Mane 6.

It's a good enough documentary It certainly isn't bad by any stretch of the word.

It’s a massive improvement compared to Bronies, which is more akin to a glorified news piece than an actual film. ABT focuses on the personal journeys of Voice Actor Ashleigh Ball and specific faces from the MLP Community. One of the key differences between the other documentaries on the subject is a greater focus on the personal, with the majority of the film tapping on the histories and tragedies of artists and fans. Military Veterans, Singers, you name it. And naturally, bigger names like SaberSpark & DustyKatt make a debut as well. Stories from Bryan Mischke and MandoPony will definitely get people invested.

My kudos to the director. The Cinematography and Editing is light years better than the competing documentary. As much as I’ve lauded The Brony Chronicles, the Audio/Video quality isn’t really on the same bar as ABT. The “main plot” of ABT with Ashleigh Ball isn’t a huge focus, but does pop up often enough and helps keep the pacing on track. The original Bronies documentary felt very disjointed, and thankfully it isn't the same case here.

A Brony Tale reminds me that what makes MLP innovative has far less to do with narrative and more to do with culture, community, and the artistic potential created from what started as a girls show about talking horses. While that’s always been an underlying theme of the documentaries, ABT performs this with flying colors. My only complaint is it doesn't cover some of the harder questions about the fandom, which Brony Chronicles(especially Part 2) manages.

It was money and time well spent, and I’m happy with how it turned out.

Bad News, Super Smash Ponies got delayed a few weeks or more due to a glitch with the unreal engine. Good News, it's still chugging along with the game's alpha, which should show up about...february-ish? They're considering online capabilities in a Peer-To-Peer thing.

Nope, Fighting Is Magic is the only MLP fangame to get the hammer on it. Do keep in mind that lauren faust did join up with them to make the Tribute Edition happen, there's little reason to avoid it. (Source)

So, Super Happy Story on the new page. For those out of the know, I was meant to have an MLP-Themed 30th Birthday Party back in June. Without getting into great detail, the idea exploded into a fiery blaze. My sister(who was helping me make it happen at the time) decided to create a belated birthday present for me on christmas day. Alicorn Princess Twilight Sparkle is the Mary Sue to end all Mary Sues - The Twilight's Kingdom episode cemented that in. The majority of what's coming from her voice is unnecessarily stating the obvious for the kids; If you treat your audience like they don't have a brain, they may grow up accordingly.
