Ah, I found out what you were talking about. I'll put it in a spoiler box, to the benefit of those for the feint of heart.

Not long after The "new" forums popped up, so did someone else. His username was Nate Assassin.

He eventually grew curious about the show, and I pointed him to a few places. He eventually became a full-on Brony.

The problem was a lack of self-control, and a very strong interest in things which were better off on 4chan or somewhere else. Yeah, that stuff is inevitably part of the fandom, but he was near obsessed and had trouble battling off the mods because of this.

It eventually exploded in the topic. I detected the nuclear launch, and left for a good week. Once the dust cleared, people tried to repair whatever the hell had just happened.

 

In other news, Blueberry Muffin flavored Lip Balm.

I've never heard of Nate Assassin described as a "reign of terror", that's giving him too much credit. I just figured something he saw drove him into insanity, and not the good kind of insanity.

It's just not the same if I can't make people without the extension watch the John McClone lemon party. :'(
