...I'd hope if you had read it you'd post something that's actually a discussion rather than a rehash of whatever it is you intend to imply or your poorly supported subjective opinion of "Wierdness"... I mean come on. Do we really got to do this. Exactly what does it matter that the target demographic is "Young girls and their Parents" Mind you parents likely 20+ years of age. Aside from confirming the intended Audience is wider than "young girls" what does your previous statement do for your posistion of our wierdness? Nothing. You simply posted a statement with no advanced explanation no form of argumentation nata, nixs, nill, zilch zero. Statements are statements facts are facts. Fact is the target audience, and even demographic is wider than young girls. Fact 2 parents are likely 20+, Question what is the difference between a 20+ year old parent who enjoys cartoons and 20+ year old non-parent who enjoys cartoons? Answer: One must clearly censor their cartoons more than the other... I'll let you take a gander at which person needs to do more censorship as their societal responsibility. (Hint: not the one with the kid, wait was that spoilers? Damnit).
Gravi's
and?
is completely justified. No one here denies the target audience is young girls and their parents. Unless there is some abstract question of what it means to be a parent outside of having a kid and how old parents are supposed to be it's kind of a moot point. Additionally again you've made no actual statement supported by any seeming form of reasoning beyond "it's wierd because i said so". We also don't dissagree that most of us probably fall out of the target demographic, though from refrences not necessarily the audience at least at this point, but we have so many similar followings most recently with the growing steven universe fanbase. Which Honestly i'm curious as to why it's not drawn nearly as much fire as the brony community, spongebob, transformers, and the ever increasing list of shows that 20 some year olds have attached to that are outside their demographic what makes us any wierder? Especially with all those girls watching those young boy shows, freaks(jk that's sarcasm). What I find even more baffling is why we aren't obsessing over all those kids watching the original looney tunes those were totally not intended to be watched by the youngens at the time of publication.
So my question to you is exactly what gravi said: And?
Additionally do you have a point to posting here beyond being obtuse with your unsupported subjective opinion, or do you have something objective or enlightening to say to us beyond "it's wierd"? Trust me you're like at least 3 years, maybe 4 years late to the brony bashing party.
