Nora? Like in my Sig? Well Even if not I shall explain. You see: Derpy Is clearly the one true goddess of the MLP verse as she is known for her derptastic successes. However in RWBY there is the character named nora. Nora is exceddingly excentric and is simillarly derpy and talented as the good lord Derpy is. Thusly Nora is the Incarnation of Derpy in this other universe.

He was civil about his questions. Though we've heard most of it before, I'd rather be asked old questions in here than none at all. Having people in an observational state around this thread is somewhat expected, but I don't see a point in shunning them away for asking. He did ask about the unique parts of the show, for one.

Besides Humor and Storyline, quite a few mention strong characterization. That can vary on the episode, but I suppose Twilight has more weighty responsibility from S4 and up. CMC and Discord have potential as well.

Their emphasis on more emotional storytelling's something that seperates it from something like Regular Show or Spongebob, which resemble more of a sitcom than anything else. The Return of Harmony, Sisterhooves Social, Flight to the Finish, Rarity Takes Manehattan, For Whom The Sweetie Belle Toils, and Bloom & Gloom are very strong examples.

Not all of their stories are Black & White, either. Even as early as Season 1, Green Isn‘t Your Color placed fluttershy in a position of "friendly competition" that she never chose, unlike what we saw in Pinkie Pride. Rar/Shy's similarities are played off in a way that has neither character necessarily in the wrong.

It's been made apparent during later seasons that building storylines that get people talking is going to be a thing. It's a thing now. I hope said topics are made less one-sided than The Cutie Map.

This did not work, and we are stuck being only mostly better than the 5 Nights at Freddy's fandom.

Strongly disagree, and I'm curious why you believe that. I think there's as much Good as there is bad with the MLP Community. It's hard to deny that while G4 originated from Faust, Bronies originated from somewhere far darker.

But I think that's one of countless sides of the MLP Community. The range of Sanity in fan creations vary anywhere from Healthy & Normal to... I dunno, Cupcakes and the like? The audience range is vast, and I'd rather not have one brony tied to every weird-ass thing someone else in said group did. "Brony" is a title, yes. But it's not all we are.

Neither the show or the fandom are perfect, but I think it has potential. Great potential. The Original Star Trek wasn't considered a Pitch-Perfect Masterpiece right at the start. I'm not sure whether it'll turn into something bigger or fizzle out, but I'm ready to Face The Future if everyone else is.

I agree mostly, he was very civil about the questions, but the wording of some statements bothered me a tad and when it comes down to it, it was the most recent example of someone coming in and asking in paraphrase "What the hell you doin'?"

They seem to be more fond of taking the expectation of an episode or character and flip it, a bit like the Appleoosa episode. Writing was strong with RD/Pinkie, a very pleasant surprise. The Rainbow Sparkle bit was pretty clever.

So I finally got around to the last 3 episodes.

 

The visual gags were great in this.

 

And I suppose I should mention the off-hand joke that Fluttershy seems a little too infatuated with whatever Tree Hugger was saying.

I can agree that he was tactful but he didn't actually try to open a dialogue. Instead he simply stated his opinion, while selectively interpretting facts by focusing on only one of the 2 target demos (the other being adults with kids who probably watch cartoons), and repeatedly shut down or ignored attempts or prompts at discussion that went further than the essential idea that we're all wierd because Ponies are for girls. I think what made me most mad was the whole "there aren't and's at the end of statements" (Factually and figuratively false by the way since syntax and other opinions/positions exist but whatever). Had he actually expressed some desire to Discuss and talk even without interest in the show then maybe I'd agree more that he was civil. He was clearly just bored and tactful.

I thought this episode was pretty good. And I was surprised to see development outside of the ponies. And another nation. That was sweet. I feel as if though some segments of fannon involving griffins have been validated.
