(Oh, and as a warning, Super Filly Adventure does not use grimdark imagery in a particularly tasteful manner either, I only said it was better because more time and detail went into the gameplay. on the other hand, all of it's "LG" inspired content is optional.)

LG4 has an amusing reference to the Ben Drowned/Haunted Majora's Mask creepypasta. 4 and 0 also have same trappings of a story. Those might be worth playing. The others are just screamers, though, and frankly if you know the formula of how these things work it lessens the impact.

Haven't played the Blank Flank ending of Super Filly Adventure yet, Should do that this weekend.

Story of the Blanks is awesome, though. I wouldn't even classify it as grimdark, really, since everything turns out alright for Applebloom in the end.
