Great, now there is going to be a lot more, what do you call it, "shipping" these two.

recon x luna will ALWAYS be pony thread's main ship. dont you worry.
There is not even any truth to those claims.
There is not even any truth to those claims.
Don't worry, most shipping has no basis anyway.
But there is absolutely nothing credible to suggest I'm even interested in her. Just cloppers projecting.
Perhaps so, but Derpy and Doctor Hooves were just standing next to each other when that ship started.
There's less basis for that.
And you have stated she's least worst, so you like her the most.
I don't care about it, but I just want to point out that it's all because you are all sick cloppers projecting.

Recon: "Its not like I love Luna-senpai or anything. BAKABAKABAKA!"
Luna.
Recon claims he doesn't like this character like everyone claims he does.
Therefore, Luna must be flipped.
Conclusion: Recon likes Anul.
No, thats not pronounced how you think its pronounced. Now you ARE projecting.
/on Recon's team
Oh I see prince we are taking sides now are we? I shall side with team derp. Let Derpy x Doctor live forever may the ship sail!

Eh, it was mostly a critique on how its not very realistic as far as constructed languages go and that bethesda should've hired real linguists to make it instead of doing silliness and making random decisions. Alternatively it also talked about what was realistic~ish/systematic in it or seemed to be. I'm highly interested in its genitive markers. Also it seems to be rather tenseless except on a few special verbs, which to me suggests that they are more particle than verbs.
But yeah Stuff.
This guy must have taken *all* the drugs.

id argue when having a verbal debate in a language that can literally kill you, you can get your point across fairly thoroughly and might not need any more syntax.

And I'd argue there are a lot more fictional languages that have so much more to them than some light shows and lack of grammar and syntax.

^Never heard of this one, what is it exactly, and why the nesting, i assume its intended to simulate a programming language?
My focus on fictional languages tends to be around their lack of what makes them more like natural languages. They all have their ups and downs but really its in the difference and the value of what's missed. What's missed often surprises me honestly.
But there is indeed alot more to them than just grammar, mainly indexicality in their use. In general specific communities will use them inorder to establish some root identity or to confer community membership to other members of the community. This has a social value in itself. Additionally the fact we can construct artificial languages (programming languages included), is an interesting feat and work of human creativity in itself. More importantly they give communities that latch onto them a starting point to begin adding and systematizing it. I just wish more folks who were interested in creating or establishing a more naturalistic language for their lore and then go claiming that they made a "language" would approach the situation by hiring actual linguists to make it more robust and much more "language like" rather than simply being an alternative means of speaking English
but jeager, As far as grammar and language goes anything thats intended for communication is rule ordered and systematic its just the nature of language to be that way. If it weren't then communication couldn't occur because there would be no set way of encoding meaning and no feesible way of deciphering the meaning on the end of the interpreter. Even if the Thu'um can kill, if it also doubled as a means of communication there must be something more to it than just randomness at times otherwise its just magic words for the sake of magic and that does not a language make
. Though with the popularity of skyrim and the thu'um which i thing has grown greater than anyone really expected it to, i would expected we'll see numerous community based improvements on it making it even more natural language like. Who knows maybe in 500 years Thu'um will be a newly emergent naturalized language stranger things have happened. And there is a precedence (mainly with klingon and Elvish) of this occurring already though on a smaller scale than what i'm suggesting.
But MLP would just be leagues more entertaining to me if i could faun over some artificially constructed "Pony Tongue" and see other brony communities use it and study that xD, i mean we have our own jargon but nothing like Tolkien's elvish (the apex fictional language), Klingon (the 2nd apex fictional language), and Mandalorian or Thu'um (which i'd say are fairly similar in what they have and don't have but i'd need to look at more of both) for example.
