I don't think that would be appropriate for the setting, Fallout Equestria is more like Fallout 1&3 than 2 or NV. No significant factions that could be considered remotely benevalent.

The Enclave's power armor (their proper APA Mk II, not whatever the hell it is they were wearing in FO3) has always struck me as being more hawk-looking, actually. 

I suppose the eyes are pretty insect-like though.

I think Ghost's point was, that Kkat always refers to the visors as being insect-like.

Well, they weren't actively out to stop you, in any event. That's got to count for something. Shady Sands and Killian's Junktown, as well, although you might not be able to really consider those "factions".

But they are a faction, though. Perhaps the only real one besides the Master's Army. 

Relative to the rest of the Wasteland at the time, they're practically a superpower. 

EDIT: Oh, and the Followers too. I forgot they showed up in the Angel's Boneyard. In fact, they're probably the most played straight and benevolent faction in the whole series...damned anarchists.

Sure, they're the second most powerful faction in FO1, but they have nowhere near the ability to affect the lives of ordinary people that the NCR does in FO2.
