It can't be that hard to believe one or more of the writers has read that fanfic. Its only THE most popular fanfic based on the show(Cupcakes on the other hand being the most infamous).

Nah, I'm judging by hearsay. Honestly, I've heard people talk about FoE a whole hell of a lot more than Past Sins. To me, PS is just a very popular fic.

Anyway, am I the only one who found Pipsqueak's presence a bit awkward? He kind of felt like one of those forced guest appearances in a live action show, but this is animation so I was just baffled.

Well, I didn't mind him that much, but he stood out a little more than necessary.

That and apparently, the general fan reaction to him is negative. Oooooh.

But major points are going to Luna and Zecora(for her appearance, really).

Me, I just prefer the few seconds of Luna in Season 1. If they kept that voice, avoided the third person schtick, and had her freaking out over people being scared of her, I think it would sit better with me.

i think we're missing the point lpprince, this isnt some executive, focus-testing, meddling going on here, this is who Princess Luna is.

Well of course. They had to give her a canon personality and such.

I just think they could've done a better job explaining the difference between her in Season 1 and her now in Season 2.

Lauren actually told the fans what her explanation would've been had she been doing it, but we didn't even get an explanation.

I guess it got handwaved because this is a little girl's show and they'll just overlook it.

I don't know about y'all, but I like this Luna. Although after hearing her say "We" and "Us" I'm starting to think a small part of Nightmare is still within her, this should be expanded in later episodes.

I quite liked the new Luna, she seemed very akward and old-fashioned as you would expect for someone who's been in exile for 1,000 years.I think THE FUN HAS BEEN DOUBLED needs to be a meme.
