I thought Pinkie Pie was ADORABLE in this latest episode. Dressing up like a chicken? And then, totally committing to the chicken persona? classic Pinkie Pie. And the line "I'm not a genius, I'm a chicken" may be one of the best lines so far. Love Pinkie Pie!

Tramp implies....other things that you haven't mentioned. And Pinkie has an attention span. She would have to to plan parties at the level she does.

Flawed premise is flawed. Pinkie Pie approaches every situation with the mindset "how can I make this situation MORE FUN!!!!" And there's nothin' wrong with that. And just because Pinkie Pie doesn't lecture like Twilight Sparkle, doesn't mean she's dumb. Remember the parasprites? Only Pinkie Pie knew what they were, and how to get rid of them.

They didn't have any speaking roles but the CMC were with the rest of the kids in at least a couple of shots. Scoots was a werewolf, Sweetie was a vampire, and Apple Bloom was...a Frankenstein, I think? Dinky was also in there, dressed a firefighter.
