You should probably take that down right now, Stanley was pretty explicit in his call for "no sex".TheBlackBaron wrote...

This show is the completion of a cycle. Its role in the cosmic order was preordained when the stars were young. Behold the culmination of your history.

Edit: Meh, can't figure out how to imbed it.
You make and , then put the link inbetween them. (replace < and > with [ and ] respectively) Or dependingon the browser you use you can simply drag and drop the pic into the text field.

Sugar, and spice, and everything nice.
Sugar: It's sweet. The characters are cute, they have sweet voices, they're charmingly adorable in myriad ways. But for all the sweetness, it never comes off cloying or saccharine. It's done in a very sincere way. This is the element that ostensibly appeals to the little kids who are the quote-unquote "target demographic' of this show. But the fan response should tell Marketing Geniuses of the world to throw out that antiquated model of target demographics.
Spice: It's also got a lot of action and adventure elements. These ponies don't sit around and play dress up all the time. Well, Rarity does, but it fits her character, and she can kick butt when the need arises too. Like the time she was kidnapped and forced into slave labor in a mine by a gang of criminals. Yes, that really happened in one of the episodes. It's got magic, recurring villains, conflict, pratfalls, classic cartoon violence—everything that makes for an engaging story.
Everything nice: The underlying message is actually a relevant one. Friends are everything. Too often people take friendship for granted, they think that careers, boyfriends/girlfriends, videogames, etc, are humanity's raison d'être. But it's our friends who are there when all that other stuff loses it's magic, and the magic of friendship never fades if we treat our friends the way we wish to be treated.
Plus, these ponies have a positive message for girls/women that also resonates strongly with boys/men: There's no right or wrong way to be a girl. You can be a traditional girl, like Rarity, Pinkie Pie, or Fluttershy, feminine, sweet, kind, and all that, but you can also be bookish, athletic and competitive like Twilight Sparkle, Applejack, and Rainbow Dash, traits not commonly encouraged in young girls. And you can flip it around, it's okay for boys to like some pink stuff every now and then. Guys are allowed to like the good and sweet and kind things in this world too. Paradigms of gender be damned.

And has this picture, which as far as Twilight being hilariously adorable goes is definitely top-5.

And finally has the additional tags "Unfashionable zombie ponies, and that's how Equestria was destroyed".
This is gonna be good.

...Okay, this is really simple. Lyra is not a Twilight recolor, Berry Punch is not a Rarity recolor (or even a unicorn, for that matter), and Carrot Top is not a Pinkie Pie recolor. So the way to handle this is that these are not the same characters as the background ponies we know and love - they just happen to share cutie marks.
That said, judging from the comments it seems like Lyra is going to very quickly gain the surname "Heartstrings" in fanon.
