Does anyone else think that Twilight's cutie mark makes no sense(apart from her name)? Should be a book or something along those lines since she lives in the library and loves books so much.

YOU HAVE JUST EARNED MY ETERNAL HATE FOR INSULTING TWILIGHT!!!

...

...

If you watch "Cutie Mark Chronicles," you'll see she got it because she bascially did more powerful magic than any other pony in 1000 years--and as a young filly.

Hey, chill out. I was not 'dissing' Twilight, she's a great character;). It just struck me as something a bit curious about her appearance.

@TheBlackBaron
When you put it that way it make sense but in comparison with the other ponies' cutie marks it doesn't since it's not a job per se.

Not all cutie marks relate to jobs, though. Heck, Dash's is a rainbow lightning bolt coming out of a cloud (which is ****awesome, I might add). That's got nothing to do with being a weather pony. They just indicate their "special talent" which may or may not lend them a hand in their job (e.g. Rarity's gem fending spell helping her with her job as a fashion designer). Twilight's talent is magic, so her mark makes perfect sense.

...Good lord, did I really just type that all with a straight face?

This is what I keep seeing in those scenes. Some spoilers in that link for anyone who may not have seen the entire series (but really, why not? :P).

I wasn't really mad, I was exagerating (how is that stupid word spelled?).

Wow, she's really good! I hope the other VA's are as good as she is respectively. Rarity and AJ in particular have accents that are hard to sell as realistic.

They're indie devs and they don't make money off this so I they prolly can't afford to pay real TV VA's. But with subs this good it shouldn't be to much of a problem.

On a side bar, my friends got me to start reading Fall Out: Equestria and sparring the occasional typos, it's more engrossing and well written than most novels I've read recently. Pretty impressive, I recommend anyone check it out if you haven't already.

Rarity's precise accent might be hard to get down but AJ's I can't see that being difficult. I can do a decent impression of her, and I'm a guy. Now, granted, I'm from Texas, and she already speaks like a walking sterotype of the South, but still.

That's the thing though. Her accent sounds more like a Missouri twang (I figure this is the case cause the Ozark region has a lot of apple farms so it kinda makes sense). But what I think makes it hard is that most people can mimic a southern accent, but few can make it sound believable. But they'll probably just get and actress/actor with a natural accent so it's really just Rarity that might get fudged.

Yeah, the Ozarks is what it reminds me the most of. Didn't know the tidbit about the apple orchards, but that probably seals the deal.

Rarity's is kind of hard to place but it sounds vaguely Mid Atlantic or Manhatten to me, which matches her mannerisms and profession. Doesn't explain why she suddenly sounds Swedish when she gets upset though.

Few can make it believable to Texan, perhaps, but I grew up in Las Vegas, so I honestly can't tell the difference.  If noone had told me, I wouldn't even know that there was more than one kind of southern accent.

Also, Rarity has a Manhattan accent? Really? I thought it was a Boston accent, isn't that supposedly the city known for it's upper class population.

She doesn't sound like she pahked the cah at Havahd Yahd, so no, definitely not Boston.

I can just imagine what AJ's next line would be.
"We run the fruit racket in this town" Mafia styleB)
I guess the leg tucking thing is the pony version of leaning back in casual manner.
