Whoops. That's fixed now. And I basically suspected Applejack until she turned out to be a unicorn. I then shifted my suspicion to Twilight using magic to make herself stronger, and figured out it was all of them when I saw her wings.

Yeah, reading this thread before watching the latest episode is a very bad idea. I already know the ending to Skyrim despite only having done the first 4 missions of the story thanks to the Skyrim thread

i think its canon now that applejack is stronger than rainbow dash physically. too bad we didnt get to see/read what rainbow dash wrote. also this episode kinda makes me think like the writers are reading the aj/rd shipping fics out there..
theres this one scene where rd has her hands around aj and says something to the effect of making aj famous by being her friend and pulls her in close. for a split second before the clip ends, it looks like rd made aj kiss her on the cheek.
maybe its just me, but then again, "scary but fun".

I thought it was funny how Rarity couldn't stop running her mouth about how great she thought the Mysterious Mare Do Well's costume was while trying to teach Dashy a lesson about humility. Oh well, as we saw in Lesson Zero, she has a strange sense of humor.

I shrug it off. If there's a weakness to this show's writing, it's that whenever it's time for a character to come into focus their flaws tend to be magnified.
Anyways...The Mysterious Darkwing Lantern Corps. I ****ing love it.

It makes you wonder what they're going to do with the Mysterious Mare Do Well Corps. I mean, ****, they're obviously badly needed because Ponyville has no emergency services beyond Nurse Redheart.

Ponychan seems to be reacting...poorly to this episode. Like, even worse than usual.
I mean, it was probably the worst episode of Season 2 thus far (imo, anyway), but it was still good, and the awesomeness that was Lesson Zero/May The Best Pet Win/Luna Eclipsed is a very high, very difficult bar to match.

I'm never going to complain about Dash getting character development, but...Rarity and her have had the most thus far, and it seems like it usually comes at the expense of flanderizing their character for an episode (like Nukee said). I would like to see if the show can do it consistently without having to turn the negative aspects of their characters up to 11. It's the same reason AJ became a stubborn sore loser in Applebuck Season, Look Before You Sleep, and Fall Weather Friends, and Pinkie became a bipolar hyper-dependent psycopath in Party of One.
