Assault gun. Or tank destroyer, I suppose, they used it in both roles. 

Not a tank. Tanks have turrets. Little bit of a crowbar seperation there.

They just need main guns. H*ll, they don't even need treads! The HMMWV that has that missile thing on it counts as a tank!

Seriously though, since when do tanks HAVE to have turrets? I understand that may not be a tank, but that doesn't "has a turret" is a tank qualification.

...Because that is literally one of the defining characteristics of a tank, ever since the French developed the Renault FT at the end of WWI. If it doesn't have the gun mounted in a rotating turret, it's not a tank - it's an assault gun. 

Not all turreted vehicles are tanks, but since the interwar period, all tanks are turreted vehicles.

lilpip and luna kinda remind me of this old anime i watched a long time ago..

there was this spacetrain that went into space with this lil kid who ran around with a gun and his psuedo-girlfriend who was old enough to be his mother but wasnt cuz that'd be creepy and does anyone know what anime im talking about?...Or did my 8yr old brain process it differently from what it was?

The way it ended was, from my understanding, the lil kid wasnt the woman's "first" and that she'd been with guys younger and how it never works out so she leaves him..Man i'd really like to see that movie now. Maybe id understand it this time around.
