Did I say that Lionheart was Dashie? I meant that Lionheart could be Dashie. Aslo, to be frank, Rainbow Dash had a boyish voice to begin with, and transforming into a ghoul could have changed the pitch of her voice into something that sounds even more manly.

I attempted to get a similar picture of Rainbow Dash to compare so here.



Similarly the gaurds when display shock have slightly more rounded noses as seen here


it wouldn't be unreasonable to figure the model in the Nightmare Night pic as male based off of this (as girl ponies seem to get increasingly square like  noses when heading at high speeds (or at least in rainbows case))
Next the nose is more similar in size as well as head proportion to the likely male gaurds presented earlier.

So i think it would lean more towards a male canononically. However It is also a different species (bat wings) and not restricted to the same gender rules as Pegaponies, Earth Ponies, and Unicorns. So ultimately it's inconclusive :/ because as we see with Zacora, and the Pegacorns they don't have the same muzzles, infact they have blocky muzzles, and are still girls.

if it wasn't for the wings i'd say solved but we have a wing problem :/ so we have a 60-40 situation were it's more likli to be male canononically than female but there's a decent chance it deviates from the general trend considering 2 of 5 other Species do :/(pegacorns and zera versus the 3 main pony types)

If this is a fan fic though and we're simply discussing the gender presentation of it i don't see why it matters much honestly? at that point i'd think whatever the author wants. Hell in my DnD Campaign for some reason we have Dr. Hooves, Derpy Hooves, and Dj Pon3 B34ts as gods xDdespite not being gods in the show xD

again, I stand by my theory that FoE powerhelmets are designed to accomadate a variety of muzzle shapes.  Also, the story states that the bat ponies are not a separate species, but rather pegasi wearing armor which has been enchanted to make their wings look like bat wings.

in that Case the liklihood of it still being Male goes up to about 90% Muzzle Arch wasn't being measured Nose Shape was if we assume that the powerhelmet is based off of the gaurd helmets then we should easily come to the conclusion the nose is likely visible unless the story states otherwise. check and mate had it said they were a seperate species it would've been slightly more likely based on poniatomical findings that it was a girl. But now the liklihood of that occuring is rather miniscule based off those findings espcially given this you can clearly see the nose shape of male pegaponies despite hair covering the arch as well. similarly again we can see a clear differential here as well So if the nose be blocky it's probably a male in any picture it's portrayed in.

Believe what you will and such, simply know that Poniatomical structure is seemingly against you. (if we could get a pic of the helmet from the author or a description of the helmet from the author that would be great too but if it's like that fan art previously linked It's probly a dude.)

edit: Checked back at the fan pic the nose is debatable but if we do look at muzzle arch and not just the shape of the nose It seems to certaintly have a raised arch and seems to have a gap that would be indicative of a blocky nose shape IF the pony is also a ghoul and as most ghouls (if not all) in fallout loose most of the fleshy cartilidgy nose tip that i've been talking about mainly. is this a Fallout Cross Over with ponies? Cause i just noticed a Pip boy and it would certaintly makes sense as to why someone mentioned ghouls before.
