Nah, it seems to be more like what if Shep lost, everyone died, the ponies over 100's/1000's of years advanced to their level (discovering eezo and mass relays plus Citadel) becoming the next cycle for the Reapers.

I am thinking about introducing a virus to my story to kick start the evolutionary process, much like the Prothean on humans.

Seems to be another Mass Effect/MLP fanfic out there. I think I can do better.
