I'm not the biggest fan of the genre either, but there are a few notable exceptions.  accolade, for example, is one of the most epic things i've read yet. (I don't think stanley will let me link it, but just search for it on eqd)

At first I was confused and thought you were talking about Twilight/Hooves shipping, because that's also really popular (or at least is seems like it).

ANYHOW...Discord. Not gonna watch the video, but whoever correctly guessed that chimera-looking thing from the season 2 screen caps was him deserves their props (even if it wasn't a great stretch). That said, he reminds of Steven Magnet, if Steven Magnet suddenly turned into a modern art masterpiece instead of a gay sea serpent.

EDIT: And yes, that picture of Twilight is in my photo album.

true talk. But on a whole I tend to steer clear of shipping. It can, if done wrong, ruin your view of a character. Or even worse, just be really dumb. It can be good too though I guess, if done right.

Luna was created rather late.

The first two episodes of the show were created LAST, I think.

So Luna was kind of a late addition to the show. Celestia was I assume supposed to rule everything, but then they thought, "Lets give her a little sister and say she used to control the moooooonaaaaaah"
