My imaginary friend wrote a fic in the fashion of "cupcakes" about a year ago titled "Bitter Almonds". Can't say I'm a fan of it myself.

In this story, Pinkie Pie and Rainbow Dash go on an April Fool's day massacre, with several characters dieing in distateful pranks. Spike ends up eating a crystal of potassium cyanide.  It is titled for the quote "Why does this diamond taste like bitter almonds?"
