I saw the flim flam episode. Yeah, the whole derp hooves voice was blown out of proportion. What voice were they expecting, TotalHalibut's? She sounds more goofy than literally having some disability.

I loved the whole music man style of it all. It reminded me of the sneetches story from Dr. Seuss for those who remember it: The whole Random-Guy-With-Bizzare-Machine offers a lucrative deal. And yes, the BttF reference was a win in my book.

He's had a legendary voice for years on YouTube; It seemed like a suitable antonym for Derpy Hooves. I still think the episode was pretty great though. The only dissapointment...is that I've seen every MLP episode up to this point. Now I have to wait like everyone else. :-p

i know the feeling Dom, its like when I first started watching the show. I marathoned the episodes for a week and when I watched it all, I found out it was 2 more months before the next season started.

You know, I've got to admire XyroTR1's tenacity. He gets the episodes up for a few days, in full 1080p, then Hasbro comes along and swats them (since he's basically the most prominent uploader left, and they've got to keep up the appearance of protecting their copyright). And he just makes a new account and does it again next week.

There are other 1080p channels with episodes, but they take longer to upload. On the upsde, some, like Goodwrench, never get Hasbro'd. At least it;s still easy to find eps.

That's depressing; it's been taken to a rather pathetic level. Everyone was fine until she started speaking, now people have to rain on the derp parade.

depending on your geography, derpy can mean someone who's dopey, or someone who's mentally handicapped.

i have mixed feelings on this subject. theres thing pang of guilt that I have where, if something bad happens to mlp, it would be because of us. the creators gave us something in return for our appreciation, and if it ends up biting them in the ass, well, thats just ****ed up.

And yeah, I get that. If it's really that hard on the majority of the fans, I can't really do much to get in their way. Don't think I'd want to. At least the show exists, so I can't really complain.
