And I don't think the Discord corrupting Luna thing sounds plausible. He doesn't seem that evil really.

I don't, that would totally blow away the premise of "Past Sins.

Fanfics are not cannon. I agree the premise of Past Sins is great, but we already know that a new Luna episode will be a part of season 2.

I'm not saying that they should consider making the most popular fanfics canon, I just don't think that saying Luna was corrupted by Discord would add anything worthwhile to the story.

Fallout Equestria is REAAALLY good. So I don't want to think it never happened. I just want to imagine it happened in another universe, not the true one we see on the show.

ok, it's not so much that I want it to all be in the same universe, I Just think that Luna turning herself into nightmare moon is a better story than discord doing it.

Faust has said that an outside force was responsible for corrupting Luna into Nightmare Moon. Now that we know Discord is a Chimera-type Steven Magnet cousin, it seems unlikely he'd be it, but you never know. Discord is the opposite of harmony, after all.

I keep tossing around the idea of writing something like "Planescape: Cupcakes" or whatever, crossing over the prime MLP universe with various fanfic ones. I think it could be cool if done well, but the trick would be to have an actual plot and not just turn it into an endless parade of cameos.

hate to say it, but cupcakes crossovers have already been beaten to death, If I was trying to make a Planescape crossover, I'd just try something new.

Too be honest, all the horror MLP stuff needs to die.

Fallout Equestria gets a pass for being incredibly well written and not being SOLELY based on gore and death everywhere(even though there's a lot of it).

When was that?  I always imagined that the princesses were so powerful that they could subconciously turn their most abstract thoughts into monsters, and Nightmare Moon was the manifestation of her jealousy and rage, made flesh by her powers.

do you have a link? sometimes in cases like that it just turns out to be an animation error.

hate to say it, but cupcakes crossovers have already been beaten to death, If I was trying to make a Planescape crossover, I'd just try something new.

I doubt it'd actually feature Cupcakes heavily (or even much at all - I hate the thing). I just think it sounds better as a title than "Planescape: Equestria" or "My Little Torment".
