Nah, I think Find A Pet had a bigger reaction. We all knew Smile, Smile, Smile was coming. A Fluttershy-Dash musical duet was a bolt from the blue.

Anyways, Prince, what was the reaction in the RBD room to reading Rainbow? The Twilight room was already going nuts from the best pony getting an appearance in.

Aint continuity awesome? Also we now know that Zecora is 1 day older than Cheerilee. Also whatever day it was in the show was Cheerilee's birthday. I wonder what Big Mac gave her:D

As I mentioned, at that part the Twilight Sparkle room fairly well exploded...twice. Once for Twilight appearing, once for Dash reading. I did too, if you lok at my recent status updates.

Apparently the RBD room did the same thing.

Think that is an easter egg, not continuity. And continuity has already been in the show: for example, Pinkie's feelin' was at s01e15 and at s02e08.

Also, honestly? 

I didn't think the song was that great. It's okay, but I don't think it was even as good as the Cider song, as far as Season 2 songs go. 

Anyway, I judge this one to be a Season 2 mid-level, Sisterhooves Social/Cutie Pox-tier episode. As far as Pinkie episodes go, imo Baby Cakes was better.

i guess you can say when it came to liking books, rbd finally came out of the closet.

I saw the episode: A friend in deed.

I was not impressed. The vast majority of this episode is far too predictable; one thing I loathe in watching an episode is being able to see exactly where it's going. Until 3/4 through the episode, that's exactly what it is. The writing doesn't win me over this time. The songs are grand in scale(particularly the first), but it doesn't carry any weight to it.

Frankly, for those who are indifferent to pinkie pie(or downright hate her), I'd say watch the episode until you meet cranky while they begin the confrontations, then skip right to about 2/3 through.

Eh.

Edit: Also, Derpy's in the snowglobe at 13:00.

Today's episode was one of my favorites. Cranky was a total BAMF. And the use of "Smile"....manly tear. I had trouble picking AJ over Pinkie as best pony before. But now I gotta say there are 2 best ponies.
