At least that's what one youtuber says.

"snip" is the english sound for scissors though. i'd guess the "schnapp" was to keep it more intune with the music at that part i'm not sure. But yeah that would be the literal translation for that segment. the more idiomatic english of course would be *insert by where for* is but i think we all knew that already

But yes typically the first thing i think of when i here snip snip snip is circumcision. one snip for the scissors and well *shudders to think*

I love how for that entire two or three minute stretch of Twilight explaining the Brohoof Bash (which is totally canon now) and Spike's tape Rarity and Sweetie never change their expression or move.
