Maybe, I don't know... it's simply good?  And the few people who aren't haters on the internet are more tolerant to what's considered deviant behavior? Seeing that their main hobby is already treated unfairly by the society?

Anyway, I survived today's lack of MLP.... watching the premiere of THE LEGEND OF KORRA!! :lol:

In October 2010, My Little Pony got rebooted, and a couple of people on 4chan's /co/ boards decided that the 4th generation my little pony was way better than it's precedecessors, and fit for viewing by adults. Eventually they got driven out of 4chan, but by than they had already spread to  every corner of the internet.  If you want to see what all the fuss is about, you can watch pretty much any episode on youtube, and the whole first season is up on Netflix.  equestriadaily.com is probably the most important website to visit for all things related to ponies as of now.

I was confused as well, for a very long time. For a significant chunk of said time I wasn't even aware it had been rebooted, I assumed it was all nostalgia for the 80's/early 90's. 

Eventually I got curious after seeing a Pink Floyd music video done with pony clips. The rest is history.
