Holy crap, drawfriend is horrifying today.
Oh well, this picture from the dream sequence in Project Horizons is pretty cool.

Project Horizons is a story that takes place in Hoofington over the same time period as Fallout Equestria. I wouldn't really say that Blackhack and Littlepip are polar opposites though, Blackjack is somewhat more social and less cunning than Littlepip, but she's every bit as self destructive and fanatical.Lukeskymac wrote...
I've been debating with myself whether or not to read Project Horizons. How does it fare compared to FOE? Basically all I know is that it's not written by Kkat, apparently happens kinda sorta parallel to FOE somewhere else (like New Vegas?), and whose protagonist is (I think) Blackjack, the polar opposite of Littlepip (save for the good/evil alignment I guess)
lmao, already read that one when EQD linked the Deviant Art version.TheBlackBaron wrote...

what i got out of it wasn't too different, basically that both "rational thought" and "faith" can coexist and to keep an open mind about everything. Because not everything maybe explainable.
Sorry, but NO.
Faith in religion is blind faith. Blind faith is never good. Never.
Also, I think the episode only lost it at the Celestia Letter. Up until then, Twi had only said "I don't understand how, why, or what, but it's real", which is fine. Being an atheist/skeptic doesn't equal denying something that shows consistent results, regardless of our knowlodge of such phenomena.
But then, "I have learned that there are things in this world that you can't explain...". Which is completely ridiculous since Twi never truly tested Pinkie. True, it was for comedic effect, but turning "I don't know how to explain" into "I can't explain" was a BAD MOVE.
And
"It just means you have to CHOOSE to believe in them."
Was the last straw. Shame, since I enjoyed the rest of the episode even though Twilight's Disaster Conga was getting forced.

I noticed. The Bronies and Pegasisters have successfully landed dominance in Off-Topic. The rest is merely a matter of time...And Congrats for the apparent sticky.
I should eventually look into that; I've more than enough stomach for that sort of thing.Only reason you wouldn't want to read it is that it's significantly more grimdark than the original. At times you might find yourself even more horrified than Dashie in that comic.
In the final chapter of FO:E, Littlepip said they will likely never know.TheBlackBaron wrote...
Did they ever show what happened to Dash in the greater FO:E universe?

That's writer's code for "sequel hook".
