In the final chapter of FO:E, Littlepip said they will likely never know.

That's writer's code for "sequel hook". 

Or it could be that Kkat just wanted to leave one of the Mane Six out of the whole "what was their fate" schtick.

For realism purposes, it makes sense that Littlepip couldn't find out what happened to ALL of the Mane Six.

That it happened to be Dash was just circumstance.

Honestly, I'm just glad Fluttershy survived.

that could be a good fanfic...Ponyville keeps trying to make celestia out to be some dictator but really shes a broken-hearted, benevolent ruler who despite all the hate, still manages to stay true to who she is and do whats best. A lot of social commentary could be made with that one.

Also, I still haven't quite figured out why Twilight's her brother's best mare. 

I mean, yes, obviously it's cause she's his sister, but you'd think there'd be, y'know, another stallion for that role.

There must always be a Lich King.

There must always be Chaos in the world. 

That's Cadence's dark seceret, she was father by Discord and is responsible for keeping Equestria from drifting too far out of equillibrium by becoming too harmonious.
