Smooze on a stick! Makes me think, no matter what Cadence's shameful secret turns out to be, you know there are going to be fics where Twilight imagined the whole thing, and she kidnaps the princess to protect her brother.

theres a small chance that the writers will finally go in saddle-deep with this godpony idea and make Cadence out to be some sort of goddess of misfortune, thus her big secret.

There must always be a Stark in Winterfell.

That's Cadence's dark seceret, she was father by Discord and is responsible for keeping Equestria from drifting too far out of equillibrium by becoming too harmonious.

Magic was inadvertently discovered by Clover the Clover during the Allegory of the Cave in Hearth's Warming Eve. She and Star Swirl eventually unlocked the secrets of the remaining Elements of Harmony and used them, along with the other leaders, to defeat the Wendigos. Star Swirl would later pass the mantle onto her, and she to their children/biological constructs, Luna and Celestia, who would use them to defeat Celestia's childhood friend/coltfriend Discord when he resurfaced after a long absence, a self-imposed exile after disagreeing with the two over the use of the Elements to defeat the Wendigos.

You know, have they ever explained where Twilight was in Canterlot at the beginning of the pilot?

Was that her house? Her parent's house? Was she on the PCSFGU/UC campus and that was her ridiculously extravagant student housing? Apartments granted by Celestia? And how do they have parks and rivers in Canterlot when they're perched on the side of a mountain?

if Magic is friendship, and magic is sufficiently advanced technology, then that means friendship is sufficiently advanced technology.

magic being the final element of harmony..its no coincidence the fandom calls it the orbital friendship cannon.

No, Friendship is magic.

Think, nickel is a coin but a coin isn't always a nickel.

Not ALL magic is friendship.

Irrelevant. The magic Twilight is wielding super-powered Elements form is powered by Friendship, therefore itrepresents and for all intents and purposes is Friendship. 

In your example, nickel to coin is a material implication. Friendship, however, has material equivalence to magic.

Where does it say this?

The fact that Twilight can't activate the Elements in Friendship Is Magic Part 2 until she recognizes the "spark" of friendship she has with the girls? 

The fact that when Twilight gives up on her friends, as in Return of Harmony Part 2, hers and the other Elements no longer work?

I don't know how much more obvious the show can make it.

Alright I kind of see what you're saying, but they should say that Friendship is the sixth element, not magic. That's confusing.
