Now that I have Netflix I can finally see what all the hype with this show is about.

At first you'll watch a few episodes and conclude "Meh, this is decent, not great but not at all brain rotting either. Perfectly harmless fun"

You'll have a small hiatus, but then one day when you're bored you check out the next episode. Then another, then another. Then you reach the midway point of the season. The pace at which you watch the episodes will increase heavily

Then finally, you reach the 1st season finale, look at yourself and ask "My god, when did I become a fan???"

And I can identify most of those guns, which may be slightly more useful than being able to identify all of the ponies.
