That's due to several things. One, it's the end of a season. That's naturally going to be time filler for artists to throw in ideas. Two, the final added 2 3 very significant new characters. Three, Major storyline bits and B-stories(like filly twi and cadence) make for easy art pieces.

So yeah, there's going to be many pictures for a while. weren't we around page 699 a few days ago?

My mistake, I thought he was referenced or appeared earlier in the series. The Official Wiki says otherwise, so you're right. The Big 3. My Mare-Memory must be muddled.

Nah, Shining was never brought up in FiM itself till the S2 finale, he was in various Hasbro toy promos and what have you along with Cadance though.

This is straight up amazing. A mosaic, made entirely up of screens from parts of each and every FiM episode so far. Not recoloured or anything.
