Season 2 had a better narrative than the first. You might argue succesfully that Season 1 had better humor, though. A lot of the classics of MLP's comedic writing can be found in the season one. I just personally preferred episodes that had a narrative pull to them, that weren't just 'random character's misadventures'. Different strokes, different folks.

 Finally after so long I got round to finishing Fallout: Equestria. Afterword and all. Utterly epically amazing comes to mind. BTW An End Once and for All from ME3 played in my head during the last part of Ch45 and the beginning f the Epilogue, weirdness.
