Theres a class in some of the older Final Fantasies where pretty much most everything the class does comes down to chance. Their unique abilities reflected this.

Actually their attacks were pretty effective, ranging from powerful multiple target attacks to mass status ailments to instant death for a lot of enemies. Their normal attacks relied on stats like everyone else though. Though there is that one attack where if you're very unlucky (1 in 10000 chance never seen it outside of YT) it'll be an insta-Game Over.
