you know, theres an amazing dichotomy behind sweetiebelle's and applebloom's friendship. On one hand, we have this sweet and elite, debutante filly whose part of the aristocratic inner circle of the rich and famous in Equestria, and on the other hand, we have the typical, small-town bumpkin farmer girl. Its amazing this never even crosses their minds, how fortunate it doesn't rip them apart.

And then there's Scootaloo.

I was lamenting on Scootaloo's implied homelessness/orphan-status. Out of the 3 cutiemark crusaders, we know nothing about Scootaloo except she fangirls all over rainbowdash and that she lives in the clubhouse the CMC built.

Pretty sure it was mentioned once with her having family but I'm probably confusing fanon with canon there.
