Personally, I'm thinking that the location will play a large role.  Judging by the size of the wings on Pegasi and Dragons, I'd say that Equestria has a much thicker atmosphere than Earth.  If Dashie is transported to earth, she may not be able to generate enough lift to get off the ground, wheras starcream could probably transform into something with engines adapted to thicker air if put on Equestria.  Luckily for Rainbow Dash, transformers are a spacefaring race, so Starscream on Equestria seems a lot more plausible than Rainbow Dash on Earth or Cybertron.

I think that Dash's size could be a real help. I'm not sure how big ponies are compared to ppl, but Starscream is like 20+ feet tall, so maybe she'd be able to out manuvuer him and use his large size to her advantage. She just ahs to watch out for his advanced targeting.

Oh yeah then. Dash can definately keep away if she's careful. I jsut don't see how she can hurt him outside of ramming into him.

she might be able to hurt him by getting sucked into his engines, but I doubt it.  If an f-15's engine has a 
34.8 inch wide inlet and Big Macintosh is 58 inches at the withers, I don't think that dashie will fit.

Using somewhat dubious scaling techniques, I have decided that G1 Starscream is about 42'5"" tall, while Rainbow Dash is 3'8'' at the withers. This is what they'd look like, standing side by side.

I'm thinking that Rainbow Dash will have the advantage if Starscream stays in robot form.  He may have plenty of giant laser canons, but they're designed to shoot 50 foot tall robots.  He may have a harder time hitting supersonic pegasi.
However, while he's in his F-15 form, it might be different.  An F-15 can fly at Mach 2.5, while Dahie can barely pull Mach 1.  Starscream's best chance may be to put as much distance between himself and Rainbow Dash as possible before unloading all his air to air missiles.

Perhaps Twilight Sparkle would be >Pinkie Pie if insane fun loving cuteness was Pinkie Pie's strongest attribute, but as "Feeling Pinkie Keen" demonstrated, extrasensory perception trumps intelligence.

It is what her entire personality and background is built upon, so yes that is her strongest attribute. Having an uncontrollable ability that is rarely, if ever referenced again hardly constitutes putting a star in her column.

Exactly. She is no doubt insane and that is what makes her so adorable!

She has actually demonstrated that she can control her psychic power better than Twilight can control her magic under some circumstances.  Otherwise, couldn't she have just teleported out of this situation?

Yeah, Fluttershy was the only one that really beat him. The rest fell to his tactics, but she couldn't be swayed.

And of course Discord cheated. He's Discord, one of the Elements of Disharmony.

He's the one making up the rules of the game, of course he's gonna break them.

I just think that it was cool they let one of the ponies beat their test.

The rest all fell, the only two who resisted well enough were Rarity and Fluttershy, and only Fluttershy actually won.

She's a winner.
