Also, the first few notes from that theme, but apparently from that special episode with the "Rainbow of Darkness" and some other $h!t, is just awesome (as seen in "Ponies react to G1" part of Anthology II)

Well, to be completely fair, it's got a grain of truth to it. Lauren based her conceptions of our ponies off her own memories of the G1 ponies. 

Nonetheless, G1 Transformers it ain't.

Yeeeup,same here.
Animation is terrible, the character's personalities are so generic and it's shallow. Those were steretypical girl shows with a really bland plot and G3 is the worst offender. Dear God.......

Honestly i think they do it more to humor me out of the 4 of us i'm the only one who's actually "into" the show. I am in charge of bringing the cupcake mix apparently.

As much as people hate to admit it, G4 wouldn't be what it is today without the crap that came before it.

In a way, we should be thankful the first few gens sucked. Without them sucking so hard we wouldn't have the awesomeness of today.
