Well, depends. Is there a war going on? Are main characters (either of the fic or of the show) going to die? Then you can probably file it under Grimdark. 

What if the characters are already dead? *cough cough* Vampires *cough cough* I might kill off a few characters in the sequel, if I get enough requests about it. And if I actually get far enough in the story to finish it.

There's definitely an internal war going on between several groups. Perhaps its more of a series of battles rather than a full scale war, but I could always change what I have in mind.
