I speculate that it'll end up that one by one Twi will remind them all of their element and then they will face Discord without the orbs only to find out that the elements were inside of them the whole time, they don't need the jewels, and then they'll handle Discord.

Well, I have determined that Rainbow Dash is too big to get sucked into Starscream's engines, but that improves Starscream's chances of survival as much as Rainbow Dash's.
