Fallout 4 is apparently going to be set in Boston. You know, that Commonwealth stuff mentioned in Fallout 3.
I guess it's ZeniMax who are working at it again, instead of Obsidian (underrated studio...). Here's hoping it will be more like New Vegas and less like shallow Oblivion-With-Guns Fallout 3.

By "they" you mean ZeniMax, right? Is that a "don't you dare ruin the original setting too!" sentiment there? Cause I know that feel.
EDIT: About NV mods, all I know is that I love Project Nevada. Had to tweak with the "needs bar" speed to play in Hardcore mode, though. I set them to a point between Vanilla and Nevada, otherwise Hardcore would cease to be simply more engaging and border on irritating The Sims babysitting. As if having 50% of standard health wasn't enough of a nerf.

I usually start the dlcs with just Joshua Graham's pistol, and use whatever I can find.Lukeskymac wrote...
Ok, am I the only one who liked The Lonesome Road? I read the IGN review and the reviewer was pretty much an idiot. How could she flat-out admit she wasn't paying attention to the dialog? "Presentation" is a review category, you know!
But yes, damn that sneaky suit that injected Med-X without me asking. And a plasma pistol? Really Twi? I wouldn't dream of going through The Lonesome Road without first getting either the Survivlist's Rifle or a modded LAER. Or both.

As long as they stay away from the West Coast.
Although Seattle would have been pretty cool too. Maybe after FO4 is out they can let Obsidian develop one with an overland map and real travel again. I'd love a game that explores the area Van Buren was supposed to (Arizona, Utah, Colorado, New Mexico), and maybe gets out to Texas as well.
EDIT: There's also a NV story mod called "Beyond Boulder Dome" that's been taking the Nexus by storm, although as I haven't played it yet I have no idea how much, if it all, it relates to the Boulder Dome of the Van Buren design documents.
