Can the horrendous anatomical incompatibilities between ponies and bananas be explained by evolution, or could it be seen as evidence of intentionally bad design by a malevolent creator?

Considering how earth ponies can handle objects with their hooves in a way they shouldn't be possibly able to (see Pinkie with a wrench in It's About Time), they could simply "grab" a banana and peel it with their teeth.

I also don't like Silver Storm, because... well, she has Int 3 and acts like it, durr. And the writing offends my grammar-**** feelings.

Like I said, I haven't read any sidefic for FO:E. I just know what I know of Puppysmiles from random internet research, and so I have no idea whether the grammar is bad or exactly who kills who when. She's just too adorable, even for a FiM filly.
