Hello everyone!

Pre-info: Im using XBox360

How can I delete charachter profiles and its saved data from XBox and SocialNetwork?

I can manually delete saved games from hard drive, but first I have to write down all the savegame names for that charachter, which makes it irritating. Is there any button such as "delete profile"? Because i didn't find it.

I just created several charachters to test things out, and not using them anymore.

Ouch. I pretty much spam the save button on the PC which luckily has an easy delete option. As a fellow Xbox 360 user (Just not for DA:O), I hope BioWare will look into this for you guys.

I was really surprised by the lack of an in-game save/profile delete option as well. It seems like a pretty big oversight...

Yep. I've had to go into HDD memory and delete profiles and saves manually...I was thinking that it was strange that there is no option to delete a profile in-game. Now I only make two saves a character. A camp save and a quest-line save. Each time I finish a main quest-line I then save over the previous camp save, when I start a new main quest line I save over the old quest line saves. Does that make sense?

I might as well go back to Borderlands, they patched the major bugs in the game within two weeks. I can't even post a thread in the spoiler section of this site, even with a registered 360 game. That tells you how much BW give a **** about console users...

I dont know about xbox360. But if you want to delete character profiles from social network, I think the function has been down for a while now.



It used to be under My Games -> Dragon Age Origins (whatever) -> Manage Characters

At least you guys can even get your characters onto the site I have registered my game and still only have the creater guy I made prior to release still unable to use him

No way to do that. Just logoff and go to xbox hard drive settings from dashboard, and delete the files from there.

yes, there a many things that just don't exist on the XBOX... hope they will fix it soon!

I asked this question a while ago and the only thing I got was "Delete your data by going into your hard drive and delete it that way."

But as I asked before....is it safe? I have yet to get a reply on that question.

Deleting saved games from your 360 HDD manually is perfectly safe, for a given definition of "safe".



It's not going to do any harm to your HDD, or the game (if you've installed it). The save files are stored separately from game installs, and as long as you know exactly which save files you need to delete, there's no risk of erasing save files from other characters.



Once you've deleted all saves from a particular character, they should no longer be visible / accessible from the Character Select menu in-game.

Then why are my character saves still exsisting from MASS EFFECT even when I deleted them via the hard drive and in game?

I don't call that "safe".

I too would like to see an in game profile/save delete option.



I've had no problem deleting save files directly from my Xbox HDD though. I haven't had any issues because of it.
