For me, I'm not a Merrill fan. She would be the last person I'd have my Hawke romance.
I find Sebastian's personality to the Chantry irritating (I say he should go back to Starkhaven!)

As for Anders...I've waited for him to be a LI since Awakening. He looks better than his Awakening version and his story has gotten deeper since we last met him.

I'm a bisexual male. I had three playthroughs first was male character with Fenris, second a female with Isabela and third a Male with Merill. I liked the Isabela romance the best as it was the both the most fun and I think the most meaningful. Same with Morrigan's romance in DAO.

I'd love to see a boyish (yeah final fantasyish, sue me) male love interest in DA3. Hopefully Rhys

Plenty of people think Fenris and Anders (and Sebastian, for that matter) are hot.
Personally, I think the whole party is attractive, and was disappointed at the lack of opportunity for an orgy.

Ah, well I guess I never take peoples actions purely at face value, I am always compelled to ponder underlying motivations for complete understanding.  In Fenris's case I totally understand why he reacted the way he did, I certainly wouldn't have given up on him just for that.

Seriously, both the males love interests are butt ugly in looks and personality. Both female interests are striking in looks and personality. Bias much?

Glowing companions are far more exciting to me than the other options. It's very subjective what is hot and what is not.

I'm petitioning to make all future love interests in Bioware games constantly masked or completely inhuman. Those are the only ones where people DON'T complain about their appearance.

If you romance her, Isabela still hits on Zevran (the line is something lie "wait, what about sex") if you take her on the quest.  I think it was totally in-character, but still rather distasteful (and that's a kind description).  I won't be romancing her again just because of that.  She's funny, but she's not faithful.

Personally I find all the LIs attractive. Although I don't like facial piercings Isabela has other... features that offset that.

@caradoc2000 - You only get the supportive corselet if you romance her, so her balance is slightly off until then. Once you acquire it, then she's super bad*ss!

Then she says "You complete me armour"

This is my opinion but I was only able to completely romance Seb and Izzy. Just not interested in the others. I dont think any of them look bad by any means but personality wise and as a RPer, I didnt find anything to like about Fenris, Anders or Merill as romances. I dont mind a friend path with Fenris and Rival with the other 2. Rival with Anders cause he wont stop talking about mage issues and it even irked my Apostate Hawke. XD

Well not sure which Fenris you are looking at, but that broody elf is By far my favorite. But each character can be Romanced by both female and Male Hawke's. (exception is Sebastian) If Sebastian wasn't a religious nut ball he would be another awesome choice. But every single play through I have Romanced Fenris. Can't help it.

I think with her you kinda have to expect and except that, she will also flirt with every companion as well. BUT leads your Hawke free to be um, open....

Fenris was pretty enough (albeit a little weedy) and had a fantastic voice.

Anders looked like a ferret and sounded, as my mother would say, "wet". I wasn't a fan of the VA's performance at all.

Both spent too much time embroiled in self-pity for my tastes. *shrug*

Anders looked good to me. Fenris and Sebastian, however, are a different matter. Fenris looks like he was ripped out of a generic JRPG/Anime series, another moody emo pretty boy that does nothing for me. Sebastian looked ok, but was such an idiot, I'd sooner romance the Dog.
