ME3 will be (very) good, but not perfect.

Actually, I wasn't trying to start a discussion, but just stating the obvious in hopes that people would take a moment to re-evaluate their own hype. My hiatus from the forums lessened my tolerance for fanwangst and general herpderpery. If your initial response to the OP was, "well, duh!" then you have nothing to worry about.Geth_Prime wrote...
I know this is an Admiral Cheez thread, so I'll likely be hunted down by half of BSN for this, but I don't really see the point in this. Is it a serious thread? Is it supposed to ignite discussion? It just seems like most of the topics I see on this forum are Mass Effect 3 reviews.
In other words, I made a new thread because I wanted to take a moment to b*tch about the state of the fan community, since I apparently don't do that enough in my regular posts.
I would love nothing more than for most/all of the problems discussed to be fixed. However, the minds behind ME3 are not exactly geniuses. They're good (even some of the best), and they definitely learn from their mistakes, but in a game over 30 hours long, there will be moments of suck, just because it's only natural for a certain corners to be cut and a few issues to slide under the radar.Obviously ME3 won't be "perfect", impossible to have a perfect game, but why assume that ME3 will have the same problems as ME1/2? Is it so that we'll be pleasantly surprised when it wins 200 GOTY awards?
I'm bracing myself here as much as I am getting up on my high-and-mighty soap-box. Because when that Moment of Suck happens, I want to be able to go "lol, Bioware, you silly goose" instead of "RUINED FOREVER." This, of course, is not an excuse for the devs to get away with blatant derping (they SHOULD shoot for the best they possibly can).
Never said you had to.I hope I'm not sounding like a dick here, I just don't agree with the OP.

Meh. I had to look at the video twice to see the problem. I don't know how many times I'd have to look at it to care about the problem.
Then might I suggest you should go to specsavers. I noticed that bug the first time I played Mass Effect 2, I immediately shut the game down because I was under the mistaken belief it was my graphics card developing a fault. I then spent hours trying different drivers to see if it was a problem with them. It wasn't till later that I learned that it is an actual error in the level which is missing some assets (probably the skybox).
Regardless of whether you "noticed" it or not that is still a bug and it should've been fixed by Bioware. I don't have a problem with "imperfect" games, I do have a problem when companies do not patch blatant in your face bugs like the Garrus LM graphical bug and I would hope most sane people would have an issue with that as well.

Also I forgot to say that you are being Captain Obvious here, AdmiralCheez .
