so i just found out theres a helm of the champion from browsing this site and somehow i missed it  in all three of my play throughs  so i was just wondering am i SOL or could i possibly pick it up from say the black emporium id like to have it but if theres no way to get it now im cool with that 2 just curious

Wiki sais "Acquired from Grace during the quest Best Served Cold." You couldn't have possibly missed it unless you don't loot bodies? Or you're a mage in which case you get the Hood of the Champion.

i loot everything possible and i remember looting grace but alas im looking through my inventory right now on my post game save and that item is unfortunatly not in it    neither helm nor hood no champs head piece at all and i know i definatly would not have sold that  also not in my storage chest either checked there 2

Well you can download this mod and then add the champion helmet using the command console.

In act 3, Grace will drop the champion helmet after you kill her. I suggest u go back to your save and kill her again and see if u still miss it or not.

I finally was able to loot the helmet from Grace's dead body while she was transforming into the abomination. After killing her and the abomination twice and NOT finding the helmet on Grace's body I had the idea to pause the game after killing her and looting her body while she was transforming into the abomination. And there it was: The champion's helmet. This was the only way for me to find and retrieve it.

I never pick up anything until after the fight, and I've always gotten the helm.

I had the same problem. I reloaded three times and got nothing. I tried this trick and it worked. You have to be quick though.
