So I pretty much deciding to go back to Liara instead of Miranda. I am planning on loading a save before the suicide mission and dump Miranda from there. By doing this, will my shepard still be in a relationship with Liara?

If your haven't already (In which case, pinch yourself.... Hard.) snag Lair of the Shadow Broker. That way you and smurfette and reignite your romance officially.

So by doing the Shadow Broker DLC I can get back on my relationship Liara? Oh thank god.

I really don't want to complete the game all over again just for the romance.

Also, couldn't I just break up with Miranda now without loading back before the suicide mission and then do the Shadow Broker DLC?

You can dump Miranda after suicide mission as well, just go and talk with her.

Yea... you could just make another save and get miranda as one and liara as another romance choice.

I've played the game +dlc +alternate missions about 11 times so I have about all the options I want.

I also own all the DLC so

Liara for me is better that miranda

You may even not break up with Miranda and then reassure Liara that you want to be with her. Romance in ME2 absolutely don't affect possibility to romance Liara in LotSB

In LOTSB Liara at most points gets fairly ticked off with you if you romanced someone else, some insults I found were:

" And now Garrus is doing more than calibrating the Normandys guns! "
And
" But you'd rather be thinking about Miranda in her skintight suit! "

However, you can avoid this if you romanced Miranda by talking to her, saying your not interested and then go off for LOTSB. Pretty sure.
